This weeks comes from a pop duo that is also an engaged couple called Karmin. Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan have been a You Tube sensation for doing cover of song by Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and LMFAO. The are also best known for their song Their original song "Take It Away" that is the promo for the 2011 NBA Finals. What caught my attention was their song "Crash Your Party". This weeks "In The Spotlight" comes from a up and coming MC called AROD with his song "The Struggle" I think he is a great talent more import a talent with a message. So take listen and tell me what you think.

Kina Grannis

This week artist is a talented singer song writer named Kina Grannis. She began exploring music as a child in Mission Viejo, CA.  Kina attended he University of Southern California, where she was selected by the Thornton School of Music to produce a six-song EP during her sophomore year. Two years later, she recorded a song for Rachael Lawrence and Deborah Ellen that became heavily featured in several episodes of General Hospital. After graduating from USC, Grannis relocated to Austin, TX, to sing and record with a band. She also began uploading her performances to YouTube, which helped her win a Superbowl contest in 2008. A contract with Interscope Records followed. She quickly went back to her indie root because she was not happy with the direction they were taking her career in. So she self released her first full-length album, Stairwells, in February 2010,which cracked the Billboard 200. The song "In Your Arm" is what grab my attention of this singer song writer. Jacob Latimore/Issa Thompson

This week I am bringing you another two for one. I have to artist I think you should take a look at and what is even better I found them on the same song.

Jacob Latimore is signed to RCA Records he recorded his first song"Best Friends" The had great play on Radio Disney. He has performed on daytime talk show Maury ( Most Talented Kids) in 2006. He signed to RCA in March 2010. He released the song"Like Em All" that feat. Diggy Simmons. 2011 he released the remix for "Like Em All" feat. Issa and "Nothing On Me" Both songs have been getting lots of air play on music shows like 106 & Park (BET Network) and MTV. I think this young man has the making of becoming the next big thing. So tell me what you think.

Issa Thompson is the youngest rapper to sign with Jive Records at 16 years old. He is already being compared to hip hip artist like Lil Wayne. This young man can't just rap he is an actor and model. So consider him to be a rap prodigy. He has gained attention for his song" What Ya Lookin At" and for his feat. on "Like Em All" (Remix). I think Lil Wayne better watch his back I think he is about to have some serious competition. So take a listen and tell me what you think.

In The Spotlight

This is the first "In The Spotlight" of 2012 and it comes from Miss Kitty Boo. I think she has some serious talent. I am not sure were she is from but take a listen and tell me what you think.

Donald Glover

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and brought in the New Years in style.  But now it is time to get back to business. This weeks artist is a man of many trades. His names is Donald Glover he is an American actor, writer, comedian, and musician. He is best known for his role on the NBC hit show Community (Troy Barnes).  It was a shock to me to find out he was such a talented musician (rapper/singer). In 2011 he signed with Glassnote Records under the stage name Childish Gambino with whom he released his first album called Camp. His song "Freaks and Geeks blew me away so take a listen and tell me what you think.
