This week artist goes by the name of T Mills (Travis Tatum Mills) I guess you could classify him as a pop/ rap artist. Travis began his career writing music in his bedroom. He quickly gained attention by posting his music online which help gain him a spot on the 2009 Warped Tour. He was signed to Laguna Beach label Uprising Records were he released his first album called "Finder Keepers". Now under the Colombia label his latest album " Leaving Home" was released to the public for free. What caught my attention about this artist was his song "Van On" I think their is something unique about this song that just got attention so take a listen and tell me what you think.

This weeks artist is a female pop star on the rise named Carishma. This young up and coming pop star first caught the attention of producer Timberland and songwriter/producer Rodney Jerkins as a unsigned artist. The infectious star quality that she has comes quite naturally considering her mother was a bollywood actress. This week we are going to be doing things a little bit different. As we all know over the past weekend we lost a true musical legend Ms. Whitney Houston. I want to take this time to express my sadness for this great loss. I know she was an inspiration to me and to so many other. My heart goes out to her family in this time of sorrow. This is my tribute to such a lovely and beautiful talent. We will always keep your amazing talent in our hearts.

This weeks artist is a duo called Electric Guest. This LA based duo comprised of Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton. They have worked with producer Danger Mouse. Their infecious sound is gain lots of attention. MTV has named them one of the Artist To Watch for 2012. Frank Ocean

This week artist goes by the name Frank Ocean. Born Christopher Breaux is an American singer-songwriter and rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He first go his start as a ghost writer for artist such as John Legend and Bridget Kelly. In February 2011 he released his mix tape "Nostalgia Ultra" This mix tape caught the attention of Kanye West and Jay-Z which earned him a feature on their album "Watch The Throne". It was his song "Swim Good" that got my attention so take a listen and tell me what you think.
