Sam Adams

This weeks artist is a hip hop artist and producer who goes by the name Sammy Adams (Sam Adams). He was born August 14, 1987 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  This Boston boy started making his name for himself on YouTube on his macbook in 2008. Adams has been musical for most of his life, playing the piano since age 7. At age 11 he began to improvise with his piano playing, starting to create his own beats and melodies. He aspired to become a producer long before he ever considered becoming a rapper. Adams wrote small raps for himself through middle and high school, but did not formally start making music until college. He is currently signed to Sony,RCA 1st Round. What got my attention was his song "Only One" . I just love his unique style of hip hop. He has a great way of mixing hip hop and electric sounds together that creates a great upbeat sound and tone.
