Happy Wednesday! Its hump day and all we have to get is get through this day and the rest of the week will just fly by. To help give you a little boost to make it the rest of the week. This week's “Artist Of the week proves that it is OK to beat to rhyme of your own drum and explore all sides of your musical ability. Kiesza was born on January 16,1989 in Calary, Canada. Kiesza discovered her love for music as a teen when she was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy in a crew sing-along of all place. At the age of 18 she was inspired to write her very first song to help deal a cope with the divorce of her parents. Her musical style and gifts started to again her attention that earned her a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston. This opportunity opened up her music interest outside of her folk roots. Kiesza is a gifted guitar and keyboard player but is her strong songwriting ability, which landed her the opportunity to write songs for both Rihanna and Kylie Minogue. What got my attention was her song called Highway. It has this unique energy that keeps you invested. So take a listen and tell me what you think. Happy Wednesday! The week is nearly over! We just have to push through a couple more days then we can enjoy another joyful and blissful weekend. As always I am here to ease the pain till we reach end of another week with a brand new “Artist Of The Week”. This week artist is a singer-songwriter from Oakland, California who goes by the name of Adrian Marcel. Adrian Marcel is a combination of both R&B and hip-hop but I think his has a sound that make him stand out from the crowd and makes him very unique. In 2013 Adrian Marcel released his very first mixtape called “7 Days Of Weak” which caught the attention of former lead of the group called “Toni Toni Tone ” Raphael Saadiq who went on to mentor Adrian. In May 2014 Adrian Marcel released the song that caught my attention called “2AM”. I think Adrian has the potential to go far in his music career.
