Free Sol

This week artist is a group call Free Sol. Free Sol which means a state of mind - a freedom of expression is a progressive hip-hop, rock, and soul band from Memphis Tennessee. The band was formed in 2003 when the lead singer/MC, Free. Their song "Hoodies On Hat's Low" is what caught my attention. This video has a cameo by fellow native of Tennessee Justin Timberlake who also directed this video. Their sound puts an interesting spin on the hip hop sound.
