Cassadee Pope
In honor of the return of "The Voice" this weeks "Artist Of The Week" is none other than third seasons winner Cassadee Pope. Born August 28, 1989 her first shot of stardom cam from her being the lead singer of the band "Hey Monday" the band released their album called "Hold On Tight". In December 2011 she and the band decided to go on a break and soon after Cassadee embarked on a solo career. Cassadee appeared on the third season of the hit show "The Voice" She took the world by storm by proving she is more than a punk rock girl she also has a heart and sole for country music. So much so that not only did the coach fell in love with and so did America who made her the winner of her season of the voice. I think Cassadee Pope has the makings of a super star. If you don't believe me take a listen to her song that was written by her coach Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert called "Over You". So take a listen and tell me what you think. Willy Moon
This weeks "Artist Of The Week" is someone I feel is very definition of unique. He goes by the name Willy Moon. Real name William Sinclair was born June 2, 1989 in Wellington, New Zealand. He is a singer and songwriter who music has been described as a fusion of 50s rock'n'roll and modern production using "hip-hop production techniques. In 2010, Willy Moon released his first song "I Wanna Be Your Man" on MySpace which helped him land a record deal with Island Records. He has been named as "One to Watch by " The Guardian" and one of the "Faces of 2012. In July 2012, Willy released the singles 'Railroad Track' and 'Bang Bang' through Jack White Label and Third Man Records. Willy Moon's song "Yeah Yeah" was used in Apple Inc.'s 2012 ipod lineup TV advertisement. I think Willy Moon has the potential to create his own place in the music world that everyone will be on board to embrace. So take a listen and tell me what you think. This week's "Artist Of The Week" I guess you could say is spreading a little "Joyful Noise" He goes by the name Ivan Kelly Jr. This young man got his start like most kids get discover these days. By posting a video on YouTube. At the age of 11 he caught the attention of talk show host "Ellen Degeneres" after she viewed his video of him singing a "Micheal Jackson" classic "I'll Be There". After his appearance his music career took off. Ivan Kelly and his family moved from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Atlanta, Georgia so he could pursue a singing and acting career. In 2011 at the age of 14 he appeared on the big screen with Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton in the movie "Joyful Noise" In "Joyful Noise" he combines singing and acting as the leader of the
Ladies of Perpetual Tears children's choir competing against Latifah and
Parton's congregation in a national competition. This were his outstanding voice caught my attention. So take a listen and tell me what you think. Remember you can follow me on twitter @StarsOnTheRise and like my page on facebook just look for the logo!

Trevin Hunte
Once again I am going into someone of favorite artist from the third season of "The Voice" to get my "Artist Of The Week" artist. It is none other than Trevin Hunte who made it all the way to the final four on the third season on"The Voice" Trevin Hunte made a huge impression on everyone when he appeared on the show. So much so he got every single coach to turn their chair around. Trevin Hunte is a young man with a huge, soul and powerful voice. That was very surprising based on his very shy domineer. Trevin Hunte has experienced bullying in high school. He even got a discouraging remark from a teacher about not achieving his music career dream. He takes inspiration from Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, and Luther Vandross. I think Trevin Hunte has the potential to follow in the footsteps of artist like Luther Vandross. I really want everyone to take a listen and tell me what you think. Remember you can follow me on twitter @StarsOnTheRise and like my page on facebook.
