Willy Moon
This weeks "Artist Of The Week" is someone I feel is very definition of unique. He goes by the name Willy Moon. Real name William Sinclair was born June 2, 1989 in Wellington, New Zealand. He is a singer and songwriter who music has been described as a fusion of 50s rock'n'roll and modern production using "hip-hop production techniques. In 2010, Willy Moon released his first song "I Wanna Be Your Man" on MySpace which helped him land a record deal with Island Records. He has been named as "One to Watch by " The Guardian" and one of the "Faces of 2012. In July 2012, Willy released the singles 'Railroad Track' and 'Bang Bang' through Jack White Label and Third Man Records. Willy Moon's song "Yeah Yeah" was used in Apple Inc.'s 2012 ipod lineup TV advertisement. I think Willy Moon has the potential to create his own place in the music world that everyone will be on board to embrace. So take a listen and tell me what you think.
