Vita Chambers

This weeks "Artist Of The Week" is a female with her own unique take on electric pop music that not only showcases fun beats put can deliver a message also and she goes by the name Vita Chambers. Vita Chambers started her career by posting video of her music on Myspace at the age of 15. Two week after that she was signed by Evan Rogers from SRP to his production company based in Bronxville, New York. In June 2009 by Sylvia Rhone signed the Canadian born singer to Universal Motown. Vita Chambers' first single, "Young Money", was released in March 2010. Her EP "The Get Go" was released in March with five songs on iTunes. At age 17, Vita toured with Justin Bieber as one of his opening acts on his My World Tour in 2010. Vita Chambers moved to Universal Republic in late 2011 after the re-organization of Universal Motown, while still being signed to her production company SRP. She released the song that got my attention called "Fix You", on December 18, 2012. Fix You was nominated for the best Dance Record for the 2013 Juno awards,and within 3 months Fix You entered the Top 40 in Canada.Vita was also the #11 Emerging artist on the Canada Billboard chart.While her song fix You is rising in the charts in Canada,she is preparing for her next release in Summer 2013. What I loved about this song was it's energetic beat and tone with a message of wanting to help or fix fix someone. Which I feel can be a unique take on delivering that message. I also think that her vocal ability his kind of hypnotic and entrancing. You kind of get lost in the song and feel like you are being taken on a journey. So Take a listen and tell me what you think.
