In The Spotlight!

I think to have a successful blog you need to create a reason for them to continue to keep coming back. That is why I have created this new segment of my blog call "In The Spotlight" Every week I want to be able to put so one with a great musical gift that is basically unknown to the rest of the world video on my blog. Like I have said before this blog for people who love music. I want to be able to shine a light on someone who just loves the joy of music. Who knows I might just walk across of you who view my blog video and you just might be put in " The Spotlight".

The first artist I have picked is Larissa Flint singing Defying Gravity from Wicked. So take a lesson and tell me what you think.

  1. I have to say I really enjoy your new segment "In The Spotlight". It's a great idea and it's helping new and aspiring artists and musicians which is very admirable. It's very true, in order to have a successful blog you need both people who read and follow it as well as people who frequently visit it. I feel like if you keep putting up new and undiscovered talent, people will come and see what your blog is all about. I hope you learned a lot in Marketing this month and I wish you good luck with all your future endeavors.

  2. This blog is exactly what the music industry needs. There are so many unsigned artist out in the world dying for a break and a chance to make it in such a competitive market. This blog gives people someone the opportunity to be discovered by small labels, or even large labels for that matter. Its a great stepping stone to start a career. I think its great that you decided to base your blog around the concept of finding new talents in music. I plan on working in artist discovery and development, so I know this blog is a great way for myself to look for people to manage and groom into a successful career. I think this is an excellent concept, so keep up the good work. I know I will most certainly be a frequent visitor! Kudos!!!

  3. Raw talent is what we need! Too much watered-down and processed music in the mainstream now and I'm not a fan. I feel that this decade is full of one hit wonders that will not be remembered, such as the Supremes, Sonny and Cher, Pink Floyd and etc. The UK are putting out a lot of musical talent and not just molding it like the US. The United States are just focused on sells for the moment, but if there is real talent being put out, it will sale long term and and consistently.
